About the Role
The Assistant Organiser role is a pathway to becoming a leader at Ducks in a Row. Our assistants move into leading their own sessions in as little as 3-6 months. To be a great organiser, you’ll need to have a knack for the neat, tidy and organised. Good time management and interpersonal skills will be essential, as will the ability to remain cool-headed under pressure and in areas of clutter.
Our assistant organisers have the following responsibilities:
Support to your assigned Lead Organiser
Follow the decluttering & organising D.R.E.S.S Code Formula
Assemble furniture required for the client
Assist with shopping, pickups, drop-offs, donations, and/or returns
Contribute to decisions made regarding how the space will be organised
Attend training in person or virtually

No experience necessary – Organising experience is a bonus but not essential, we provide all the relevant training you need to be an excellent organiser. All you need is a love of decluttering & organising.

Willing to drive 1 – 1.5 hours to the client’s home

Physical Demands:
It’s pretty much a given if you’re working as a home organiser that you will be on your feet for most of the day. You may also need to lift heavy objects from time to time. So, it’s important to be physically fit. While you’re not expected to be a super athlete by any means, you do need to have a moderate level of fitness so you can keep up with the fast-paced nature of the job.
